If you look out into the clear sky tonight, you'll find a huge yellow moon looking back at you. It's been part of human history for ever - that great magnetic disc sailing mysteriously through the night sky.

The moon affects the times and tides of human affairs. Those who doubt it have never struggled to sleep through a full moon, have failed to notice the effect on menstruation cycles, have not noticed how people grow a little mad or cranky when the orb is complete.
