Sad to say we didn't strike the big one on Saturday night! We had a few winning tickets for minor prizes, amounting to around $100. While that's not quite enough to get us there, we're deeply grateful to all who took a punt on our behalf - thank you. There are a few more tickets trickling in via post, so you never know...And should anyone want to continue sending in tickets over coming weeks, feel free! They'll be gratefully received.
Recent developments have meant we're definitely up against the odds, but remain resolute. My stars this morning had this wisdom from Queen Elizabeth I to impart:
"We are not interested in the possibilities of defeat."
